On the word waterproof

The manufacturer calls the fabric waterproof. We would not: the zips are not sealed, so water gets in at the seams under real rain. Treat it as water-resistant.

On airline fit

At 53 × 30 × 20cm it is 13cm longer than the 40 × 30 × 20cm several airlines use for a cabin bag. It does sit inside the 55 × 40 × 20cm allowance most airlines publish — but exactly on the 20cm depth, with no margin, so it only fits while it is not overpacked. Check your airline before you fly.

One-year manufacturer’s warranty on this bag.

The measurements and materials above are the manufacturer’s, not our own. We have not measured a sample ourselves, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
