Namlo is a UK shop for your everyday essentials: travel, home, lifestyle, gifts, pets, kids and baby, and bags and accessories. We choose each product for a reason, describe it honestly and deliver it to your door.

Where the name comes from

In Nepal, a namlo is the woven strap used to carry a basket on the back, across the forehead. It is the most ordinary tool there is, and it carries everything: food from the market, firewood, a child's school things, a family's belongings on a long walk. It does not look like much. It just works, every day, for years.

That is the standard we buy to. Not the most things, but good things that make every day a little better.

What we promise

Useful. Every product has to earn its place in the range. If we would not recommend it to a friend, we do not sell it.
Honest. Real measurements, weights and materials on every page. PU is called PU. Where a figure comes from the manufacturer, we say so, and we tell you what a product will not do.
Fair value. We check our prices against the UK market before a product goes live.
Looked after. Most items are dispatched from UK warehouses. Made-to-order and personalised items are printed for you and take a few extra days, and the product page says so. A real person answers every email.
