On the material

This is PU, not leather. It wipes clean and it will not crease or patinate the way leather does. We would rather name it than let “leather look” do the work.

What anti-theft means here, and what it does not

The main opening faces your back when it is worn as a backpack, so a hand cannot reach it while you are wearing it. There is no lock and no cut-resistant panel. It is a sensible layout, not a security product.
