What water-resistant means here
That is the manufacturer’s word and it means a shower rather than a downpour. The zips are not sealed. Do not treat it as waterproof.

Not 15.6. A 13-inch machine or a tablet fits; a larger one does not. Measure yours before you buy.
Why the base is PVC
The bottom panel is PVC rather than fabric, which is the part that scuffs when a bag is put down. It is the one place a plastic coating earns its place.
