About the charging port

This bag contains no battery and no power bank is included. The port on the outside is joined to a short cable inside; you supply your own power bank. It will not charge anything on its own.

It takes a 17.3-inch laptop

A 17.3-inch machine is what the sleeve is cut for, and it is why the bag is 53cm tall. If you carry a 13 or 15-inch laptop, a smaller bag will sit better on your back.
