The manufacturer calls the fabric waterproof. We would not: the zips are not sealed, so water gets in at the seams under real rain. Treat it as water-resistant.

At 48 × 25 × 21cm it is 8cm too long and 1cm too deep for the 40 × 30 × 20cm several airlines use for a cabin bag. It is a gym and weekend bag.
