What water-resistant means here
That is the manufacturer’s word and it means a shower rather than a downpour. The zips are not sealed. Do not treat it as waterproof.
On the expanding panel
It unzips from 18cm to 30cm deep. Closed, at 43 × 18 × 28cm, it sits inside the 55 × 40 × 20cm allowance most airlines give for a cabin bag. Expanded, at 43 × 30 × 28cm, it is 8cm too deep for that allowance — so if you fill it out on the way home, it is a hold bag.
One-year manufacturer’s warranty on this bag.
The measurements and materials above are the manufacturer’s, not our own. We have not measured a sample ourselves, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
